Jyothirlatha B is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector. As the Chief Technology Officer at Godrej Capital, she built and scaled the organisation’s technology ecosystem, driving its evolution into a TechFin leader through initiatives such as GenAI adoption, zero-touch loans, robotic process automation (RPA), and advanced digital capabilities. She now leads the AI Lab at Godrej Industries Group, spearheading innovation across the Group. A strong advocate for data security, she has implemented robust measures including encryption, cloud security frameworks and regular audits. Jyothirlatha has been recognised among Forbes India’s ‘Top 30 Tech Leaders’ (2023), while under her leadership, Godrej Capital’s technology team received the NBFC Leadership Award 2023 for Best Digital Transformation Initiative by a Housing Finance Company. Prior to Godrej Capital, she held leadership roles at DHFL, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank and Vodafone. She holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
